In a world where thoughts race faster than breath, we often forget the wisdom of the ancient sage Patanjali:
"Yogaḥ Citta-Vṛtti-Nirodhaḥ" – Yoga is the stilling of the fluctuations of the mind.
................................................
But how can one still the mind in a world of constant scrolling?
We slide and tap our phones, unaware that an hour—made of 60 minutes and 3,600 seconds—has vanished. Children speed up their videos to 2X just to "catch up". We leave cities to detox in forests, chase silence to escape digital chaos, and yet—even in our solitude—we crave “likes” and “views” from a world that feels increasingly disconnected.
Influencers burn out under the pressure of perpetual creativity. The rest of us, caught in the vortex of notifications and digital validation, silently suffer from FOMO, anxiety, and a yearning to "disconnect to reconnect."
Isn’t it time we explore our inner technology?
Let’s pause the world—and tune inwards.
Let’s remember: Yoga is not just on the mat. It’s in how we live, think, scroll, and breathe.
