Viewing movement as meditation expands the traditional notion of meditation beyond stillness, incorporating dynamic activities that align the body and mind.
Undoubtedly, movement encourages and allows the body to find greater relaxation. By expanding your range of motion, you create more space for breath. But as we grow older, becomes earning member of the family, takes up responsibilties, we become more committed to our work routine, movement is challenging. Unfortunately, a lot of us are unable to commit to any kind of activity either because of physical ailments or obligations at work. People in this category have no choice, therefore, we can't hold them responsible but we can encourage them to find a practice that they can practice on their own at their own convenience.
On this International Yoga Day, hellomyyoga plans to offer a comprehensive yoga session designed by different yoga schools and teachers to offer mind-body-breath harmony to all the people who are at different ages or stages of life and own this practice.
Session 1: Suryanamaskar, or Sun Salutation, is a sequence of yoga postures traditionally performed in a flow, often synchronized with breath. When combined with Vedic chanting, the practice can deepen the spiritual and meditative experience, adding a layer of sacredness and mindfulness. In this session Chitra Ganesh and Kavya Jain offers a comprehensive guideline on how to chant, what to chant and how to practice suryanamaskar.
Session 2: Deep inner peace and effortless focus is the access point of Transcendental Meditation. This technique is simple and natural that helps one go beyond the conscious mind’s surface level to a state of awareness. Bringing in Transcendental Meditation into a busy day may take some effort initially, but it pays off. When you make meditation a priority by placing it ahead of everything else in your life, you will have greater calmness even when faced with stress, and you will be able to achieve better balance and satisfaction in life.
Session 3: Yoga and Ayurveda, both ancient systems originating from India, are intrinsically linked and complement each other in promoting holistic health and well-being. This 30 minutes session aims to guide you with simple and easy to apply Ayurveda Lifestyle correction tips that intends to make your movement aligned to your constituion. This session is guided by Vd. Shweta Labde founder of Charya Ayurveda.
Session 4: Chair yoga is a modified form of yoga that adapts hatha yoga and iyengar yoga poses and techniques to be performed while seated on a chair or using a chair for support. It's an accessible and inclusive form of yoga designed by Sumit Sapru, founder of Yogsattva, that can be practiced by individuals with mobility issues, senior adults, office workers, or anyone who may find it challenging to practice yoga on a mat.
Session 5: Dynamic flow yoga is a style of yoga blend of Ashtanga and Hatha yoga that synchronizes movement with breath in a continuous and flowing sequence. This session designed by Bipin Baloni, senior yoga instructor, Rishikul Yogashala is a dynamic and energetic practice that emphasizes fluid transitions between poses, creating a moving meditation that builds strength, flexibility, and mindfulness.

Chitra Ganesh is a Viniyoga teacher & Vedic Chant Teacher in the tradition of T Krishnamacharya & TKV Desikachar. She is currently residing in California, USA. Her passion includes the Yogasūtras of Patañjali, the Bhagavad Gīta and Vedic Chanting. She has been chanting and singing since early childhood. She also developed a love for the study of Sanskrit from an early age. She is committed to imparting the holistic wisdom of yoga.
Kavya is a Yoga Educator based in Delhi. Her Yoga Journey started in 2018 under the lineage of Swami Sivananda and since then she has traveled to Rishikesh, Kerala, Mysore to learn under different teachers of Hatha Yoga, Vedanta and Somatics. As a teacher she finds great joy in sharing the therapeutic benefits of the Yoga Practice.
Gaurav Thakur is an internationally trained and certified Teacher of Transcendental Meditation at Spiritual Regeneration Movement Foundation Of India, an organization started by His Holiness Maharishi Mahesh Yogi.
He is also the Dy. Dean - School of Science of Consciousness at Maharishi University of Information Technology and oversees course on Yoga, consciousness and meditation. Gaurav's education is in Business Economics and he is currently pursuing PhD and published papers in the field.
He has over 8 years of experience in teaching Transcendental Meditation and leading various meditation retreats. He has conducted Transcendental Meditation (TM) classes for a diverse audience including students, education professionals, medical professionals and Corporate Houses.
Vaidya Shweta Labde with 20 years practice experience purely in Ayurveda, she has founded Seven Ayurveda Care in 2013. She is Founder of Ayurvedalive, wherein she writes blogs related to ayurveda and health, with an aim to share authentic ayurveda knowledge among people.
She is also founder of health related start up Charyā Ayurveda Pvt Ltd. Vd. Shweta established Charya Ayurveda with the goal of incorporating Ayurveda into the daily lives of individuals and bringing Ayurvedic philosophy into the mainstream

Sumit Sapru is a qualified yoga teacher & practitioner with 14 years of immersive experience . His spiritual inclination since childhood inspired him to do Yoga teacher training to strengthen his skills and knowledge. Sumit is a certified yoga trainer and an exponent in Hatha Yoga & Ashtanga vinyasa.
In 2010 he did his certified teacher training course in Hatha Yoga from Kaivalyadhama lonavla ( Maharashtra) one of the oldest and reputed schools of Yoga. He also did his certification in Ashtanga vinayasa from Tattva Yoga Shala Rishikesh in 2015 and currently learning Iyengar yoga from Yoganusasanam Delhi since last 7 years.
Bipin Baloni is the Director of Rishikul Yogshala, Rishikesh and founder of Online Yoga Teaching School. Bipin is Post Graduate in Yoga Science, and Internationally Certified Teacher Rishikesh, India. He initiated into yoga in 2000 and after taking an intensive journey through yogic life as well as a domestic life. He finally found end to his quest in yoga and serving the society. He continued his consistent yoga practice since 2009 and intensively explored yoga from different ashrams and finally became the disciple of Mahesh Yogi ji. Since 2010 he has been enlightening yoga community with his yoga classes and workshops through Rishikul Yogshala, Rishikesh. Bipin Baloni is also an adept writer and yoga therapist apart from being a disciplined and focused yoga trainer. He has been hosting teacher training courses from his Rishikesh Yoga Centre.
